Our first GDPR workbook, focusing on evaluating your current business, had over 500 downloads, and we expect the second part, implementing change, to beat that. Again, it's a practical document written in plain English, with sections for you to complete on the way.
The workbook is available to members of our new GDPR for Event Professionals LinkedIn group, where we are creating a community to take the conversations further. It's clear many eventprofs are wrestling with the same issues, and aren't necessarily getting clear answers on how to address them. Part of the challenge is that the GDPR ruling is open to some interpretation, and so we felt that by creating a group of well-intentioned and passionate professionals it would create a dialogue around these issues.
Whilst we still might not come up with all the answers, the group should help provide some food-for-thought as you interpret and deliver GDPR compliance for your business.
The Group has been formed by the teams at Glisser and Fileom, but is open to all event professionals and event technologists, as well as GDPR experts, lawyers, marketers - in fact anyone who can contribute to the debate.
